The people of Omaha, and the Midwest in general, are renowned for their friendliness and hospitality, especially to newcomers. Midwest nice is more than just a saying; it's a way of life that many Nebraskans live by, known as “nice Nebraska”. They were raised to be kind and generous to their neighbors and will often go out of their way to help out. The fact that Nebraska has a smaller population is due to a decrease in births and an increase in deaths, as well as fewer foreigners visiting the state.
Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo is the largest zoo in the state of Nebraska, covering an area of 130 acres. It offers a variety of activities for visitors, such as playgrounds, nature centers, wildlife sanctuaries, footgolf, hiking trails, mini-golf, parks, outdoor recreation centers, water parks and much more.
