The people of Omaha, and the Midwest in general, are renowned for their friendliness and hospitality, especially to newcomers. Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo is the largest zoo in the state of Nebraska, covering an area of 130 acres. It offers a variety of activities for visitors, such as playgrounds, nature centers, wildlife sanctuaries, footgolf, hiking trails, mini-golf, parks, outdoor recreation centers, water parks and much more.
